Debian and Ubuntu are basically the same anyway. Just that frankly Ubuntu is much better maintained, at least, it would appear, by the php5-fpm developers.</p> <p>one thing you should know, with Debian you cannot at this time start/stop/restart fpm on demand.</p> <p>.. that will change though with an update, but for now at least if you want a seamless php-fpm installation you'd do better to use Ubuntu 10.04.</p> <p>That said, try the above and sorry for my forgetfulness with that snippet.
