502 error on all LEMP Stackscripts

ref: I am on linode 768 VPS. ubuntu 10.04 x32
I have tried using the stackscripts to get setup, however, all stackscripts seem to produce the same error. Both on ubuntu & Debian.
The errors have occured yesterday and today.
Has anyone solved the errors? I have tried some of the older suggestions on the forums but none have worked.

Guys, Gals, people generally ..
.. the old PHP-FPM compilation patch is now obsolete, the script is largely changed now to reflect FPM being in PHP's core .. PHP is installed using modules with this script, so easily maintained as well.
If you redo, don't use the Cat, go Lite.

(so that's what was going on .. this FPM rollout has been quite a tease. Nice to be getting on the right side of it at last.)
