After using the stack, howto for xcache in cli?

MemberAnyone know how to enable xcache for using within php-cli. XCache is showing as enabled for both opcode and variables running through nginx. When running phpinfo from command line, it's saying it is disabled despite that it is showing that it is using the same php.ini file.
I'm stumped.
