Best way to add a domain alias

Let's say I've set up a site called example.com, now the client has also registered example.co.uk and wants it to point to the .com site.
What's the best way to do this - is there something I can put in the nginx/sites-available/example.com file, or is this sort of thing better done at DNS level?
