Member@uraxs, I haven't actually tried this yet, so this is just a hypothetical question: according to Virtualmin install guide, they only mention installation on "Grade A Supported Systems" , with CentOS being one them. As part my "dabbling" with web-dev I've only ever tried ubuntu 9.10 server. Am I missing something: does using CentOs have an advantage?

Memberwell, not sure CentOS is an advantage or not but it's enterprise grade and stable. I got stuck with it by default but have been pretty happy with it. Ubuntu is a good server and shouldn't have a problem with running Virtualmin and if I had the choice I might've chosen another route. Maybe on my next vps setup?
