Janez here. I'm a helpless newbie. I subscribed yesterday and spend all day trying to setup lemp stack on my linode slice. No joy yet, but I'm getting there. Hope to see a joomla guide soon.

If you can wait till Tuesday, you may find my then-publishing LEMP stackscript handy .. but that said, if you really want to understand your VPS (and I'd recommend that from a security point of view) then follow the VPS Bible.
