Mailing list for update notifications

I know you have email and RSS feeds for your posts, but do you have links to update notifications we should be following for ubuntu, nginx, etc?
I have no idea when or if I should be running update, upgrade, and full upgrades. Should I just run these periodically as a matter of course?

Hi Nicholas .. yes you should!
Tell you what though, you raise an excellent point .. I will try to get it together to mail alerts for, say, Nginx upgrades.
For the box in general though, what I recommend is to log in once a week and:-
sudo aptitude update && sudo aptitude safe-upgrade

The Nginx Forum has an announcements feed:
http://forum.nginx.org/feed.php?1,replies=1,type=rssI looked all over the Ubuntu site, though, and don't see simple feed for update notifications.
