postfix sender problem

MemberHi! following every step from your tutorials; i'm able to send mails from php apps but every mail is being sent as www-data@mydomain.com. mydomain.com it's the right and hidden domain i want (:P) but i can't change www-data. I tried forcing -f webmaster@mydomain.com in php.ini but doesn't work. Any help? Thanks
