username vs real name display

Unregistered~for security/ privacy purposes, I would rather use my username as a display ID, yet when the membership was created it used my real name. Is there an easy way to change this? I couldn't find any admin page for my account.

have added this to requests .. you're right Gary .. basically, i need to add a profile page to this forum.
just spending my time concentrating on writing up some tutorials at the moment and will revisit forum functionality in a couple of weeks.
