W3 Total Cache
-
I see more and more people recommending W3 Total Cache as the best caching plugin for Wordpress available instead of WP Super Cache.
Here is a great video on it: http://bit.ly/cWZ45J
My question is please Guv how do I add it instead of WP Super Cache or prehaps a Stackscript with NGINX and W3 Total Cache

Phil the Chill .. damn, you pointed this out 3 months ago and I still have not tried it, yet like you have heard great things.
I'll take a look but, to be honest, it's gonna be a bit more time cos my back's to the wall on this and that.
I'm sure this will be keenly received, not least by my own 360 megs of RAM .. so noted, nagged and renoted.
Did I sell you on that? Hope all well.

I am going to put my love towards W3 Total Cache. My site normally took 3 seconds to load and I was just piping index.php to index.html (you'd think that'd load fast) but I use W3 Total Cache and it reduced it to about 1.5 seconds - that is IN HALF. However I had to add an image cache too, which is sweet it loads in .29 seconds now.
Unfortunately that is on my mediatemple account. I am still running tests on moving this site to my linode.

Argument is very back and forth. I just read this blog about performance (make sure you read the comments too):
