Multisite is set up and I added one new site which seems to work fine.

When I added a second and third I just get server not found errors on them (front and back end).

OK, scratch that. I forgot to add a wildcard subdomain ("*")to the DNS A record.

I had already set up a specific subdomain in DNS which obviously worked when I gave a new site the same name - this threw me for a moment.
