Stackscripts Index Page

- Reason: The Ubuntu scripts, which continue properly to use the Long Term Support 10.04 Lucid Lynx edition (supported 'till 2015) are updated with a better-supported repository for PHP and now use the install-from-source method for installing Nginx, rather than the compilation method, for easier package updating.
// vpsBible.com … keeping your web server up-to-date
Deploy a Virtual Private Server and have your website working within minutes on a first class stack. Else add blogs & sites, upgrade or recompile core packages, automate key tasks and, most importantly, save serious time.
Surely not possible? It is now.
Stacks now available ..
LAMP – Linux-Apache-MySQL-PHP5
- LAMP Stack: !!5 Minute!! VPS Install 4 Ubuntu 32bit
Ridiculously fast Linux-Apache-MySQL-PHP5 install when you consider the spec. Too much to mention, check out the link, configure a few variables, run the thing off a brand new Ubuntu distribution and browse to your super-secure domain. Almost makes me want to use Apache .. but not quite. - LAMP Stack Lite: Noob-Friendly VPS 4 Ubuntu 32bit
Just like the LAMP for Ubuntu 32bit script but without the authentication key requirement. This is ideal for server or Linux noobs and webmasters deploying multiple boxes.
LEMP – Linux-Nginx-MySQL-PHP5
These four scripts are very similar. There are two scripts, both for Ubuntu 10.04 and for Debian. For each distribution there is a script that adds your pre-prepared public authentication key and another, simpler Lite script without this option (easier for noobs who may prefer to set up authentication keys afterwards).
- LEMP Stack Ubuntu 32 v2: PHP-FPM (src) + SSH keys
Run this script on a newly launched Ubuntu 10.04 32bit VPS & your domain’s just there, totally-tweaked-tastic! New user with /home/USER folder etc, Nginx, web tree, holding site with configured vhost, PHP-FPM/Suhosin, caching, logrotate, MySQL, email, iptables, SSH keys, SSHD security etc et al. - LEMP Stack Lite Ubuntu 32 v2: PHP-FPM (Source)
LEMP Lite is identical to the LEMP stack except it doesn’t mix in authentication keys, making it super-easy to set up. - LEMP Stack Debian v2: PHP-FPM (src) + SSH keys
Basically the Ubuntu LEMP script with teeny Debian tweaks. Purrs perfect. - LEMP Stack Lite Debian5 v2: PHP-FPM (Source)
The above Debian LEMP without the authentication key again, so a convenient set up and great for newcomers who can’t be bothered to read my authentication keyset tutorials.
WordPress
- WP3 Stack: Add WordPress 3 Single Sites on LEMP
Run this WordPress script on your Ubuntu/Debian distro & simply login to your blog. It automatically creates and connects WordPress to your MySQL database, adds the virtual host with caching, tweaks the permalink rewrites and sets super-tight permissions. - WP3 Stack: Setup WordPress 3 for Sub-Sites on LEMP
Choose a few simple variables, run the script, paste a few commands & start adding sites within MINUTES! This WP3 sub-domain guide automates setting up the database, the cache, the FURLs, the wp-config.php, the network, THE LOT.
Scripts In The Works ..
- dns setup
- major package recompilers
- security in depth solutions
- more OS’es
- more servers
- remote-to-local backup solutions
- a good night’s sleep
